Our mission is simple:
Drop more good into this world.
Which is why our universe revolves around the love of skateboarding, snowboarding and, of course, surfing, wilderness, family and art. In our underground boardshop and printlab, with a sick ramp, good equipment and art materials readily at hand, we shape lives by having fun. We teach kids how to build their own skateboards from scratch, and then drop in on them. We put cameras in their hands, then teach them how to shoot, edit and tell their story. We make art and explore possibilities. We sharpen their skills, both technical and life, lighting a fire for personal expression and then let them wield the torch.

I was a professional educator for 20+ years. But the best lessons I ever learned were from skateboarding. It’s the best teacher around. Skateboarding taught me patience. It taught me to focus. It taught me to be humble and to have respect. It’s the profound lessons of dedication, perseverance and grit with no quit that I want to pass on to others. I’ve seen it at the skate park a billion times. Lessons learned on a board spilling over into every aspect of life. Skaters growing up into awesome people. Which is why I created a space for kids of all ages to come in and learn to take the drop.
Nothing happens if you don’t step to the edge.
And then look past it.
